Our Accounting and Finance teams play an important role in keeping Gordon Food Service operating effectively and efficiently.  From strategic work in the development of annual and long-range operating plans, to establishing infrastructure that keeps financial transactions flowing efficiently (our employees and vendors like that!), to credit operations that recognize the unique positions of our customers large and small, to providing advisory and assurance on internal controls.....we are reliant on this group of professionals and the work they do each week, each month, each quarter.   

As a Sr. IT Internal Auditor, you will serve as the Lead IT Auditor on assigned projects. Work as part of a project team, conducting audits and process reviews across all disciplines of the company. Identify root cause of control deficiencies and develop and/or implement practical, effective and efficient recommendations for improving internal controls and business processes.

• Adhere to the purpose and philosophy of the organization including, but not limited to, the GFS Cornerstone Values, the Gordon Family Philosophy, the GFS Mission, the GFS Code of Business Conduct, and other applicable practices of the organization.
• Assist with accomplishing IT audit objectives in a team environment, including, but not limited to, annual internal controls testing associated with the company’s efforts to remain compliant with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
• Understand, identify, evaluate and document IT key risks and controls throughout the organization, across multiple information technology platforms, both internally developed and externally purchased, utilizing the COBIT controls framework.
• Execute audit tests competently and in accordance with established procedures and programs with moderate supervision.
• Work effectively with management to develop effective recommendations to close identified control deficiencies noted during testing.
• Champion a program of continuous quality improvement (self, department, and audited areas).
• Effectively summarize, report, and communicate the results of audit tests to management.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field REQUIRED 
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and / or, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and / or, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and / or Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field REQUIRED
• 4-6 years previous IT internal audit, IT external audit, or information technology experience REQUIRED
• Experience auditing the SAP ERP platform strongly desired 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is essential
• Ability to establish relationships with internal and external parties, including maintaining peer relationships in the field to share issues and ideas
