The Vendor Support Specialist responds to vendor inquiries and resolves vendor payment disputes.

 

What you will do:

  • Manage vendor disputes and assists with dispute resolution while providing excellent customer service
  • Performs research and resolve advanced discrepancies.   
  • Investigate and respond to vendor issues - payment inquiries, payment discrepancies
  • Respond to and resolve urgent credit hold situations.
  • Escalates vendor risk (red flags) and status to leadership where necessary
  • Enter new and maintain existing agreement items, rates, and customer lists as requested.
  • Have awareness and understanding of vendor metrics to identify situations requiring action or further analysis.
  • Communicates with internal as well as external customers and vendors
  • Trains new system users including vendors and internal GFS employees and provides support
  • May serve as the main contact between Stores and Vendors for Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Invoice Discrepancy Processing.

 

 Are you a good fit for this position?

  • Two or more years of customer service or finance/accounts payable or receivable experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of Google Platform
  • Strong Excel skills
